There was a time in my life when I started rearing animals, growing the fields, make bread and cheese.
I started looking at the world through this strange dimension: the sprouting of seeds, the changing of seasons, the flowering of buds, the births, the deaths, the ripening and going bad of fruits. In the silence of a wild country.
When all this begun to be familiar, I started to see something.

Pasolini is a travel mate. He is with us, in our theatre and in our life.
His thoughts, his poetry and the images of him inhabit our place, the Ariette (the farm on the hills near Bologna where we live from 1989). Sometimes he appears behind the grass, in a starry sky, in the eyes of a sheep or in a wild animal.

According to Pasolini is another step on the way towards a theatre getting rid of its forms. It is a question asked to silence, especially to silence, to walking and to halting.

According to Pasolini is a walk and a halt.

But it is also a passion, a via crucis inside ourselves, a confrontation with our things, places, myths. A walk in search of a calvary where to look at things from another point of view.

It is our daily effort, the sacred and necessary labour of being human beings between other human beings, beasts, flowers, fruits and leaves, before going back, stone among stones, to the truth of motionless worlds
